November is a special month for
Republic of Indonesia and
Republic of Korea for it was in
November 2017, in his visit to
Jakarta, President Moon Jae-in
launched two very important
foreign policies. First, improving
relations with Indonesia to a
Special Strategic Partnership
,
and second, starting the
New
Southern Policy (NSP)
which
aims to strengthen Korea's
relations with ASEAN where
Indonesia is a key player.
Since the inauguration of the two
policies, especially during the
last two years, Indonesia and
Korea have developed more
cooperation in many sectors,
such as in defence industry,
energy, and electric vehicle.
Also, due to the globally spread
of Covid-19, the two countries
have extended cooperation in
vaccine research and
development and production.
The Korean Center of RMOL will
organize a special webinar to
underline the important
cooperation of the two countries
and to project more cooperation on
the future for the robust
development. The theme of the
webinar will be
“Indonesia-Korea:
Enhancing Special Strategic
Partnership and Co-prosperity”
