Pertemuan bilateral Presiden Prabowo Subianto dengan Perdana Menteri India Narendra Modi di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, Selasa, 7 Juli 2026, menghasilkan 16 kesepakatan strategis yang memperkuat kemitraan Indonesia dan India di berbagai sektor.
Di hadapan kedua pemimpin, dilakukan pertukaran dokumen perpanjangan kerja sama antara Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) dengan Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) mengenai eksplorasi dan pemanfaatan antariksa untuk tujuan damai.
Selain itu, diumumkan pula 15 dokumen kerja sama lainnya, termasuk kontrak sistem rudal BrahMos, kerja sama rudal udara-ke-udara, konservasi Candi Prambanan, pengembangan industri baja, hingga kolaborasi riset, inovasi, dan pendidikan.
Presiden Prabowo optimistis seluruh kesepakatan tersebut dapat segera diwujudkan dalam bentuk program nyata yang memberikan manfaat langsung bagi kedua negara.
"Kami yakin kesepakatan-kesepakatan tersebut dapat segera diimplementasikan sehingga memberi hasil dan manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat kedua negara," ujarnya.
Adapun dokumen yang diumumkan yakni:
1. Protocol Extension of the Memorandum of Understanding on Maritime Safety and Security Cooperation;
2. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Disaster Management;
3. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the the field of Minerals and Technologies for the Steel Supply Chain;
4. Implementing Arrangement (IA) on Health Workforce Collaboration;
5. Letter of Intent for the Conservation and Restoration of Prambanan Temple Complex, Indonesia;
6. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Telecommunications Technologies and Services;
7. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Medical Products Regulation;
8. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Agriculture;
9. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Management and Technology Utilisation in Elections;
10. Memorandum of Understanding on Research, Technology, and Innovation Cooperation;
11. Contract Signing for BrahMos Missile Defence System between BrahMos and the Ministry of Defence;
12. Air-to-Air Missile Cooperation Agreement between Bharat Dynamics and Republikorp;
13. Memorandum of Understanding between Non-Ferrous Materials Technology Development Centre (NFTDC), Midwest Ltds., and PT. Perusahaan Mineral Nasional (PERMINAS);
14. Strategic Joint Venture between Steel Authority of India (SAIL) and PT. Krakatau Steel; dan
15. Memorandum of Understanding between Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and PT. Intelegensi Grahatama.
